Subprocessors
The third parties Hermit Homes Ltd uses to run Hermit Homes.
These are the only companies that process personal data on our behalf. Where a landlord is the controller of their tenants' data and we are the processor, these are our sub-processors; where we are the controller of account data, they are our processors.
Cloudflare, Inc.
What for: Hosting, database, file storage, and network protection.
What they process: All application data — account details, properties, tenancies, financial records and uploaded files.
Where: The database is configured to Cloudflare’s Western Europe region. Files are stored in Cloudflare R2, which encrypts objects at rest.
A regional location setting is not the same as a contractual jurisdiction restriction. We state what is configured, not more.
Resend
What for: Sending transactional email — verification, password reset, notifications.
What they process: The recipient’s email address and the content of the message sent.
Where: Processing location per Resend’s own terms.
No payment provider
No payment provider is listed because none has been appointed. Nothing can currently be paid through the platform, so no payment data is shared with anyone. If that changes, this page is updated before the provider is switched on.
Changes to this list
We give account holders at least 14 days' notice by email before adding or replacing a subprocessor, so there is time to object. Questions go to [COMPANY EMAIL — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH].
